Web Development Trainer in Reunion Island: DWWM and CDA

Where I fit

I am not a training provider. I do not design certified programmes, I hold no accreditation of my own and I do not sell training to individuals. I teach on behalf of the providers, apprentice training centres and schools that hold the certification, on the sessions they have set up and against the standard they apply.

Teaching on the DWWM vocational title

DWWM (Web and Mobile Web Developer) is a French Ministry of Labour vocational title, reference TP-01280, at level 5 of the national qualifications framework. The current standard, revision 04 approved on 24 May 2023, defines two activity areas and eight professional competencies. I cover the whole standard.

Building the front end of a secure web or mobile web application

• Setting up and configuring a working environment for the project
• Wireframing web and mobile web user interfaces

• Building the dynamic part of web and mobile web user interfaces

Building the back end of a secure web or mobile web application

• Setting up a relational database
• Building SQL and NoSQL data access components
• Building server side business components
• Documenting the deployment of a dynamic web or mobile web application

What a programme manager gets: teaching scoped to the syllabus you already use, materials aligned with your own progression rather than a fixed catalogue, and early attention to learners who fall behind.

Teaching on the CDA vocational title

CDA (Application Designer and Developer) is a French Ministry of Labour vocational title, reference TP-01281, at level 6 of the national qualifications framework. Building a secure application

Designing and building a secure layered application

• Analysing requirements and wireframing an application
• Defining the software architecture of an application
• Designing and setting up a relational database
• Building SQL and NoSQL data access components

Preparing the deployment of a secure application

• Preparing and running application test plans
• Preparing and documenting an application deployment
• Contributing to release in a DevOps approach

With this audience I focus on the ability to justify technical decisions. My daily practice on Symfony 7 and PHP 8.3 keeps the teaching close to what companies actually ask for.

Office software and digital skills training

I also teach office software: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. These sessions suit learners who need these tools day to day, and those preparing to enter a qualifying programme where the tools are an assumed prerequisite that is rarely actually in place.

Length and structure follow your programme and the starting level of the group.

How I teach

I write better code because I teach, and I teach better because I write code. Three deliberate choices follow from that.

Real projects instead of slides. Learners remember what they built. Concepts arrive when the project needs them.

Progress adapted to the group. I take each learner's starting level into account. That changes the pace and the way corrections are handled.

Independence as the exit criterion. Success is not finishing the syllabus. It is a learner who can search, read documentation, rebuild something alone and ask for help usefully.

Working together

I am based in Saint-Denis and travel across Reunion Island for on site sessions. Remote work suits providers outside the department or blended formats. As an occasional trainer I fit your calendar, within the limits of my development commitments.

Individual learners: I do not sell full training paths. Go through a training provider, the support is stronger and often funded.
